Standard School Day

The school day for Fort Sanders Developmental Education Center begins at 7:45 a.m. Students arriving after this time are considered tardy and must check in at the front office. Dismissal begins at 1:15 p.m. 

On-site, after-school care is provided by Shades of Development for anyone who would like to apply and begins immediately after dismissal.

Scheduled Half Days

On scheduled half days, students will dismiss at 10:15 a.m. Breakfast will be served and buses will run, but lunch will not be served on these days.
